Let me congratulate Comrade Malesela Maleka for his appointment as the
president of Basketball SA.

It is worth mentioning to say it'll always be a step in the right direction for
communists to take up such positions of responsibilities in organisations that
are of national interest. This is not only a show of confidence to his
capabilities as an individual but it's also an affirmation of the type of a
person the communist movement is able to produce - which is a more matured,
disciplined and informed cadre.

Furthermore, this is a challenge for everyone who believes in this ideology,
especially the young lions, to ensure that we go an extra mile and strive for
excellence in executing our duties; that we maintain the highest standards of
ethics & values as we march forward into the communist order. To refer in the
bible, Jesus teaches us that if someone is a leader he or she is but the first
servant, which simply translate into being heedful of the aims, tasks and
responsibilities of your position at all times and most importantly of the
people you lead, their aspirations and expectations.

A reminder to Comrade Maleka and other communists holding high positions would
be to guard against temptations that come with power and also to always
remember that they're there to represent the interests of our future as a
nation, they carry the hopes of the continent. Given this, they then have an
obligation that is mainly overlooked which is to ensure that they remain
committed to the Marxist-Leninist school of thinking! It is only through
remaining committed to the ideology that we'll ensure that as communists we're
able to transform the all the spheres of society.

Keep the Red Flag flying!
