dear comrades Comrades i do not think the purpose of the forum is based on narrow perspective of being irrational when addressing the issues that are affecting our leaders and or our members.
Comrade if you think that it not important to encourage both our leaders and members to be academically relavant, then it means that we do not have a forsighted vision of taking our struggle and revolution towards the rise-rise clause. Comrade we do not dispute the fact the leader or the president of the ANC Youth League whether matric or not will remain the leader of course. But do not forget that the ANC Youth League as the leader of all progrossive youth movement, and having be guided by the twing tasks of the ANCYL it is also imperative for even when we champion the socio-economic interest of young people, the academic achievement will count in this case. Next week matriculants are sitting for their final year-end examination, do you thing when the president himself do not have good matric record how will he encourage these ones who are going to write to perform well if he can't. No comrades, next time i think we will use other discretions to deal with matters, but academic achievement should be core point of reference for when we advance, lobby and advoacy for youth development. Let us be rational, there is no need to be emotional when addressing even issues that are affecting our leaders. We will stand by our leaders, I agree but not for wrong and emotional reasons. State your fact chief, we need educated leaders in this revolution, perhaps! Lastly comrades I will be remissed if I will forget all young academically lions message of support for their forthcoming examination and let me also convey my message of support to all comrades at Institution Of Higher Learnings best wishes in their academic endeavors. Unisa denied that Cde. Julius Malema did not register for a Law Degree. Comrades let us assist our leaders rather than stand by them. If comrade Malema is having difficulty in achieve this, let us assit him to achieve rather than to naively defend an embarassing situation with our leaders. Malema needs to be an academic as well "like it or not" We need academics in our structures chief including yourself you need to come along. Amandla....in that spirit of each one teach one Let us also prioritise education as young people !!!!!!!!!1 Amandla>>>>>>>>>> -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Moses Sent: 24 October 2008 11:30 To: [email protected] Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Re: Has anyone seen Julius Malema's Matric Results? Comrade Msimelelo Do not come to this forum with the cheap antics of "shocking". What is shocking is your inability to see that the Sensational report is on page 3 of the Newspaper. And as members of the PYA we are not worried about academic achievements of individuals ,we have a election to win convincingly ,Does Mbhazima have Matric ??did it matter when he was premier??this elitist approach to matters won't change us, we remain firm and resolute behind leaders of our MDM formations, either Matric or no Matric they are our leaders and we will rally behind them . Refer to all the Constitutions of the Mother body and LEAGUE formations and see if there is anything that says one needs to have a Matric qualification to lead . Cadres at large let's not be distracted from the major task at Hand to mobilize all our plp behind the Banner of the revolutionary ANC as we approach this "must win" elections in 2009 .
