Comrades, It is common cause that the some union structures affiliated to COSATU are composed of all sorts of elements, counter-revolutionary, right-wing, et al. They will obviously take advantage of any fertile ground available to advance their agenda. I therefore call upon all cadres not to be distracted by vicious attack launched against the ANCYL. Our movement requires us to broaden YCL mass base and reinforce its hegemonic discourse in schools and campuses of higher learning to deepen the national democratic revolution in order to build a better life for the working class. We recently undergone Shop steward elections out of which one of our member was elected as Matjhabeng Shop steward Local Council member. Subsequently in the Shop steward Local Council meeting he was appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Council. Only to discover that this Mr. Tiisetso Mahlatsi he is one of the people who joined Shikota and resigned from the ANC.
