Cde Bongani is correct when he says the main culprit behind the Shikotas is
Mbeki himself. We do not have to be technical with issues, in politics one
should have the ability to analyse situations, by looking beyond what is
being presented as a Public Relations exercise, and arrive at certain
conclusions. I disagree that every member of the ANC still considers Mbeki,
whom I hesitate to refer to as Cde anymore, as a member of the ANC, never
mind a loyal one.

Only those who are politically blind, or who refuse to acknowledge the
truth, will still insist that Mbeki is a loyal cadre of our movement.
Indeed, one will not admit in public platforms that Mbeki is no longer our
loyal cadre, but we all know that he is just like many others within our
ranks who work day and night for the Shikotas. I think the only reason why
he is hesitant to declare his true identity publicly is because he does not
want to risk his political legacy, for he is not sure about the future of
the Shikotas. Iis an understatement to say Mbeki is part of Shikotas, but
instead "Shikota is Mbeki's party", finish and klaar.
