In the yesterday's publication of The Star newspaper appears an article authored by Sthembiso Khanyile a former member of SASCO NEC and NWC. In an article characterised by misrepresentation truth, Sthe finds himself in heavy pains trying to vilify the ANC on its political decisions.He desperately tries to sway South Africans to believe that the recent political developments are inspired by evil thoughts of the left forces, in the same breath he ostensibly laments the ANC for what he calls intervention with the work of government and the rule of law. Whilst he fails to substantiate through provision of facts as to why he is of the thinking that the ANC is fiddling with the law;Sthe ignorantly questions the interference into the work of government by the ANC.
We surely cannot spare some time and effort to teach Sthe commonsense, unless he wants to tell us that his loss to Mawethu Rune in Umtata congress of SASCO has traumatised him to an extent that he had forgotten the the rational of commonsense around democratic centralism, a commonsense that he mastered so well when he was deploying and redeploying and at times enforce controversial decisions to impugn those of us who served in student governance such as University SRC's and the lame duck-SAUS. He certainly enjoyed the power to exercise what he today calls micromanagement. We are neither responsible for his degenerating capacity to comprehend political decisions nor are we responsible for his selected amnesia on matters relating to logic ' he who deploys can redeploy'. I was not necessarily intrigued by the article itself for I believe it represent a bizzar and a shameful character of his thoughts, the article is simply a worthless piece of a person trying to parade his neo-scholar abilities, I do not know what motivated the editors to even consider it for publication, yet I believe that they just wanted to fill the void. I however congratulate Sthe for his courage for finally coming out to the sun to be seen for what he actually is, surely this should inspire many of his comrades who are wearing balaclavas disguising as members of the ANC whilst having COPE written in caps on the foreheads underneath.
