Cdes personally I feel that there was no need for the ANC to file the Election candidates matter to court. The ANC should have disciplened relevent cadres within our ranks for their lazyness which demage the image of our movement. And gave hope to Lekota's tuck shop 'COPE' that they will do better next year in that province. It raising many issues to me who is not residents of Western Cape, that may be this lazyness was some of the reasons we lost Mayorship of Cape Town to DA. We do not want to have this problem again; Comrades should wake up!!!
I agree that the name Congress of the People constitute the spine and nerves of the movement, and shall be respected as such. All the disgruntled members resigned from the movement because they were concerned that the ANC has diviated from the Charter which was adopted by the Congress of the People in Kliptown. So their resignation and the ultimate formation of a new party is their path to defend the Freedom Charter outside the parameters of the congress movement. My view is that we should continue to fight for this name and never allow to give people who devorced our movement to continue using our belongings and heritage.
