Is it not clear that the editors have taken a conscious decision to weaken
the ANC trhrough the all powerful media structures that they run? I remember
Ferrial Haffajee (MG Editor) speaking at UJ last week, saying that "thanks
that COPE exists & the ossified ANC will crumble", that kind of thinking
from a newspaper editor, who pronounces her absolute disapproval to the ANC
clearly demonstrates how isolated our movement is now from the mainstream
media.

This they do because they say they want to preserve democracy. They want to
prevent the society from knowing the good things about the ANC. They want to
portray the ANC as an organization of these bellicose, power hungry, greedy
& dumb politicians who are hell bent to undermine our constitution.Like now
we are already told that the IFP sponored violence in KZN is out of the
provocation by the ANC.

But it is fine comrades, the revolution will not be televised. The people
will speak.
