Over and above what really concerns me the "apology letter" that he alleged sent to Cde Naledi; paints a picture that it was a statement made collectively by the ANC YL NEC of which I strongly disagree. This to me shows that comrade President has no remorse but apologises either he was under pressure or instructed to do so. This again it does not exonerate our glorious movement particularly the ANC YL from a questionable position of upholding values. I think to remove comrade President from his position as many has suggested does not resolved the problem, nor does it aligned with the constitution of the organisation but it will merely deal with symptoms. I would have encouraged a public statement by the ANC YL to distance its self from such utterances and strongly condemn such acts by the president. If ANC YL NEC feel it fits it can initiate disciplinary actions against our ANC YL president. Clearly its us the members who are doing door to door campaigns and addressing meetings and so on who have to now account for such actions. This might open loop holes for counter revolutionary formations such as Congress of the Poisonous Elites (COPE) and later on they will be joined by members of their choir such as ID, DA, UDM, IFP and rest to sing a chorus of relegating the entire tripartite alliance to a bunch of cronies who have no values.
