to ban or not to ban what is needed is to swell the ranks within the industry and have our own creative writers of our stories that will reflect our past, present and future. as long as we have writers of these stories who's background is suspect it will always reflect on the screens. what we see on TV is the mirror image of the thinking of the owners of means of production. therefore we need to participate fully from the writing of scripts to the final product. we can not just ban but we can transform this industry to be what we want it to be.
Culture and religion ideology is part of the society orientation. its when we take part in it meaningful that we will holistically realise socialism in our life time. to ban or not to ban is not an issue, just like our economy is still in the hands of a few, we need to transform it.period. we need to to advance the artistic of our nation in the correct way , in the past we had Bopha's, Asinami's and other artistic stories which reflected the epoch, same appliers to the Sopies and other stories we see on TV. we need to vigorously play a role, constructively. these actors, writers and producers are our own brothers and sisters, we need to help them ideologically but most of it all own these productions, be able package it in a right way.
