Comrade,

If you or any other one has the slightest doubt about the political nature of the Haitian disaster, please go to Counterpunch at http://www.counterpunch.org/.

Scroll down the left-hand side and select some of the articles. There are too many for me to post on this forum.

To say that this disaster is merely "humanitarian" is the most inhumane thing you could think of, comrade.

There are no "natural disasters". All these mass losses of life are predictable, and the reason that nothing has been done, is political.

What is worse is that the "natural disasters" are then further exploited as an occasion for additional repression of the poor and exploitation by the rich.

Did you not see the white troops chasing crowds of black Haitians down the streets of their own country last night on television here in South Africa? I did.

Wake up, comrades. The victimisation of Haiti, once the richest country in the Western hemisphere and now the poorest, has been going on for more than 200 years.

Now the Imperialist vultures, jackals and hyenas are at it again.

By the way, if anyone want to contribute, I did already post the MSF appeal on here.

Best,

VC

comrades the haiti issue is much of a humanitarian , and thus we applaud those man and woman arpund the globe who have responded with gesture of goodwill by donating food and medicine to the people of haiti , its in time like this that comrades must stop being ideological indoctrinated and contribute because life and politics they share practicality it was going to be of paramount importance if Dominique and some combrades set up an account from this forum to contribute clothes , medicine and money that can help and stop politicizing the humanitarian issue, lets rise above critics and do the right thing.
