as long as government sells off public work programs as tenders there will always be a situation in which it is in a business's interest to try to increases its likelihood for receiving those tenders on favorable conditions. a company that has a senior politician in it may feel that it benefits them in this regard. comrades the problem here is the environment not the individuals within it. the problem will exist regardless of the political party except in those regions where there are very strong organized branches of the SACP and ANC to make sure these contracts are being completed on time and within budget.
