Eish comrades - it wasn't going to take the murder of ET to polarise our nation. Both poverty and wealth are still heavily racialised in this country despite the sudden enrichment of a black minority. The persistence of basic economic apartheid (that is, class) is more than enough to explain the persistent polarisation of South Africa. And the fact that open racists like ET were able to just get back to business as normal only adds insult to these injuries.
The Terreblanches and his organisation do not deserve any condolences. Let them mourn alone. The guy lived as a racist and died as one and I'm not sorry he's gone.
