08th February 2011 Media Release POPCRU supports the Working Class in Egypt against Gestapo tactics used by Mubarak Regime The world has been witnessing what can be characterised as a regime orchestrated violence against its own people in Egypt, with denials by Mubarak to make the right decision.
Over more than thirty days we witnessed the unwavering working class struggle against the regime in the North of Africa, which has already spread across many countries such as Tunisia. It is now open that the West puppets are losing the grip of power due to popular mass protest a result of no genuine changes on the lives of ordinary people. POPCRU has also noted the impatience of the people through spread of street demonstrations that became violent and call upon the regime to stop using the power of a barrel to resolve deep political hiccups that resulted in grinding poverty, unemployment and police abuses. With each day of unrest and little progress, as POPCRU we are calling for the relinquishing of state power by Mubarak regime and allow the working class to set a government that is considerate to the wishes of the many and not in the intersts of only few elites. Forward with mass popular struggle for a real change for Egyptians.
