What cde Floyd was simply saying was that as Communist we must be steadfast in our believes and stop this tendency of sleeping with enemies. Ideologically the SACP stance at the time was problematic to the working class agenda we seek to built. Having said so, we are some of us saying the NGP is elitist, neo-liberal in nature and character. Therefore, we do not the same crisis that emanate from the GEAR era. If when we are open and honest about some of the position the leadership takes, we should not be labelled. The reality is that most of the times our own Vanguard party has been anti-working class posture. Mainle because those at the helm do not believe in the agenda we are pursuing.
If this analysis is correct, we should pause and ask the deep question who do we represent, if we will refuse to Nationalise Monopoly capital because of our distate with those in charge of the enemy agenda as opposed to overthrow them and lead from the front. I know most of you, were of the view that the official Party position was anti-GEAR. What is our views now that the truth is in the open. Let's engage and let's ask the Big Question.
