The ANCYL is alliance with YCL,SASCO,COSAS and other progressive youth
formations only, comrade we must not bother for what the YL said much in
political report of JM,except to focus on youth affair and advance the interest
of young ppl, within and outside...if YL has an opinion of function of the
working class and what is vanguard about it,they must find youth formations in
alliance to them,SACP and COSATU are in alliance with the ANC,and they know and
better understand each other organisationally.

I believe that it can, provided they expressly state that young workers should
be part of labour formations and unions

Thank you Skhumbuzo,

Am I correct in saying that not all youths that work are active in the struggle
of the working class.

Will this stance of the ANCYL not strength the struggle by re-energising the
youth into being active no more than ever when it comes to their work places?

Or am I missing it completely.

Regards,

Hi

@ Lwandiso; Please look at it this way in the struggle there is a class and
strata components. Ordinarily the youth form part of a strata and a
constituent of the ANCYL this however does not rule out the fact that there
are young working youth which does not equate the ANCYL therefore to be the
bearer let alone a vanguard of the the working class (which is the main
objective of the Party). It is a complete different ball game my comrade.
