Cde Hlakaniphile, I think let not go to that, this doing was very
barbaric and stupid this people must be dealt with accordingly this
can't be tolerated at all, there is nothing wrong about them showing
their support to the leadership of the YL but burning the face of
Comrade Nzimande and t-shirt with the face of the President of ANC and
the Country it totally out of order

Indeed Given burning the ANC flag is new and foreign in the ANC as much
as burning of tshirts was also new when TM's were burnt. The flag is
much more serious as the only organisation that has done that, of course
other than elements of criminality that Mr Malema addressed yesterday,
is the IFP.
Again, the IFP is the only party that has ever violently marched to
Luthuli House (the then Shell House) and nearly sank SA to a civil war
pre-1994. Our organisation, MKMVA knows those parallels and is correct.
This is not a flag of Shoprite or Boxer Cash 'n Carry, many of our
comrades died for that flag and many disappeared for merely possessing
it. And that is not an internet cafe or beer hall but the symbolic house
of our father, Inkosi Albert Luthuli.
The fact that ill-discipline has been happening for a long does not make
it right and the ANC should take harshest decision against those (and
their handlers) who saw it fit to organise march against the oldest
liberation movement in Africa, the ANC.

Cdes, do u think we are really really in a verge of civil war? Is this
new to our movement? Is toyi toying in support of other ANC leaders now
a threat to the movement? Didn't the similar behaviour manifest itself
amongst our youth when we supported Cde JZ during rape and corruption
trial? Didn't we see the similar behaviour when we supported cde Winnie
in court? Is this NEW? Did our MK issue a similar civil war statement
when Cde Mbeki's t-shirts were burned?
Our veterans should rather reserve "civil war" statement like this for
more serious threat. The mass that was behaving badly yesterday is our
children. They need our veterans to educate them not to send threatening
message.
Long live our veterans long live

Cde Moses,
I got the statement by e-mail, direct.
I have received no other one from MKMVA so the retraction, if it exists,
is news to me at this moment.
However, I don't think the higher body is likely to be supporting the
Youth League on this particular day. Do you?
All of the statements are not identical and one also can have one's own
views. One should read them all and take note of them all, but think
about them.
In my view there is no war. There is a disciplinary process going on,
not a war.

Well said MKMVA.
But i dont think the analysis that this can plant seeds of a civil war
is the correct one, civil war can be
from people who know and understand war, these are just hyper active
young people who think they
have the world in their hands, remember they know nothing about making
fire, we were making fire and
they didnt even knew what was happening. This anyway is the lesson to
the ANC that victories are protected
and Msholozi should know better he was a commander in chief of MK. The
ANC focussed too much on factions
and abadoned its programmes in the process these are the results,
political education was in the top list of the
ANC program together with organising that never materialised now we are
busy recruiting for 1 million members
which is the program supposedly have been done long ago, now the
movement has to rectify its mistakes going
forward and do away with unruly characters and retain its dignity.

Clearly this statement goes against some of the principles they claim
to represent.its disturbing to realise what the ANC is today.all who
