The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] together with South
African Youth Council (SAYC), South Africa Student Congress (SASCO),
Congress of South African Student (COSAS) and the Jobs for Youth Collusion
(J4YC) will on Sunday, 23 October 2011 convene a press conference.

The Press conference will focus on the ‘Jobs for Youth’ summit to be held on
the 26 – 28 October 201, in Eskom Conference Centre, Midrand

*The SUMMIT will look into the following:*

Ø  Education and Skills Development;

Ø  Building Youth Cooperatives

Ø  Green Economy and Climate Change

Ø  Economic Transformation, Ownership and Control

Ø  State of the Labour Market and Labour Market Reform

Ø  Youth Wage Subsidy

Ø  Social Wage

The aim of this Summit will be to influence both government and the private
sector on the programmes and policy interventions that need to be engaged in
order to realise jobs for youth.
