At UJ we had serious problems about the manner in which Sasco handled
deployees. We didn't contest. Instead we affirmed Sasco as the most relevant
student organisation. Unlike Tutu we are communists. We are not guided by
emotions and don't want another organisation to justify it's right to be guided
by emotions. We are guided by Marxist-Leninist analysis. Who contested Sasco @
UJ then? The YL. The YCL supported Sasco affirmed it to be on the ballot on a
platform of the PYA.

Klaas wants to write but has no facts. His is to seek to factionally attack
YCL. That one we shall not allow to succeed.

I want to reiterate we shall review new experiences and respond with new ways
forward. However, Sasco remains the most relevant student formation in campuses
regardless of the conduct and views of any individuals in any of its leading
structures at a particular point in time. We shall take this fact into account.
