*DENOSA Media Statement, 8 May 2012* *DENOSA mourns passing away of Roy Padayachie*The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa mourns the passing away of Public Service and Administration Minister Roy Padayachie.
"We note with appreciation his immense contribution in the struggle against the apartheid regime", says DENOSA General Secretary Thembeka Gwagwa.
His death comes in the middle of the public sector wage negotiations and when the country is at crossroads in terms of improving the standard of living for our people.
"Our heartfelt condolences go to the Padayachie family, the African National Congress, friends and family. We wish them all the strength as they are going through this loss. As a country we have lost a genuine activist", says Gwagwa.
