Franco asked the impeached former President to help him overcome the overwhelming world hostility because of Lugo's expedite impeachment just nine months before the general elections in Paraguay.
Lugo's response came from a special scenario early today when he joined a popular rally at the headquarters of the public television channel where he reaffirmed "There had been a parliamentary coup d'état against democracy."
He said he told Franco to assume his guilt because of the overwhelming international rejection, the increasing national protest, and the unprecedented strike of public TV workers who controlled the transmissions and interviewed students, youth leader and former Ministers from Lugo's cabinet.
Lugo's presence encouraged the people, and late in the night in short statements he said he will continue the fight as a common citizen, peacefully but firm, against the coup perpetrators.
"I accepted the impeachment for the sake of peace for I knew of several groups interested in provoking a revolt in the country".
Occupying the TV station was the first act of civil disobedience against Franco's government and coincides with the announced foundation of the National Front for Democracy, a coalition opposing Lugo's eviction.

***Argentina Withdraws Ambassador from Paraguay* *Prensa Latina (Cuba) from Buenos Aires, Argentina, 24 June 2012*Argentina's Foreign Affairs and Religion Ministry ordered today immediate withdrawal of its Ambassador from Asuncion "until democratic order is restored in Paraguay."
In a short note, the Ministry said its decision matches the severe events at the neighbor country crowned with the impeachment of Constitutional President Fernando Lugo and the violation of democratic order, lowering its representation to a Chargé d'Affaires until further notice.
Little after Lugo's demotion, President Cristina Fernandez said Argentina will not support the coup, a practice, she said, "we believed long vanished from the region" and defined the impeachment as "direct unacceptable attack against Presidential immunity and against democratic order".
On Paraguay's possible expulsion from Mercosur, she refused to issue a statement until reaching an agreement with Uruguay and Brazil, at the June 28t Summit in Mendoza, at which Paraguay is to assume the presidency pro tempore.
For his part Peace Nobel Laureate Adolfo Perez Esquivel called on the democratic governments in the continent to "defend democracy and restore Fernando Lugo's powers," exposing the coup as a planned US strategy against elected presidents with support from hostile national economic and political circles.

*UNASUR Meeting in Lima over Paraguayan Situation* *Prensa Latina (Cuba) from Quito, Ecuador, 24 June 2012* **Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa announced today that the heads of State of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) will meet in Lima on Wednesday, June 27, to discuss the Paraguayan situation following the recent coup d'état in that South American nation.
"We have been summoned to a meeting in Peru next Wednesday, in which Ecuador will propose to implement the Democratic Clause.
"We cannot support manoeuvres with a legal cover", said Correa after stressing that legal procedures have been violated to remove Fernando Lugo from his presidential post.
Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño added that the Council of Heads of State should not only evaluate the political crisis in that country, but also take into consideration that Paraguay has the pro-tempore presidency of that organization and it cannot be in the hands of an illegitimate government.
Patiño clarified that President Ollanta Humala made the call to the meeting for Wednesday because it is Peru who would assume the next UNASUR Presidency.
The Foreign minister called the removal of Lugo a parliamentary coup d'état, and stated that among pretexts used to overthrow the Paraguayan president some are unusual, as it is to allow a political meeting of young people and to sign a protocol of Mercosur democracy, similar to UNASUR and Latin American's.
He also mentioned the serious incident of the death of various people in a recent land eviction, which was ordered by the government, and noted that Ecuador does not recognize the illegitimate government recently installed in Paraguay.
