Cde Alex, There is more and more of the Piere De Vos' emerging in our education system. Not only do they parade as experts in various disciplines, they actually go to an extend of horting the space by ensuring that only those that are aligned to their think get through the the postgraduate studies. In that way they are certain that they shall have multiplied their like-minded lot. This is concealed under ' academic freedom and institutional autonomy-- I teach what i like and teach who i like...Beyond the removal of the Rhodes Statues and renaming of halls in our HEI's the course for central transformation is still outstanding.
