SADTU condemns the killing of SATAWU leader

The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (SADTU) would like to express
its shock and disgust at the cold-blooded murder of South African Transport
and Allied Workers' Union (SATAWU) Gauteng Provincial Secretary Chris Nkosi
who was gunned down on his way home yesterday.

We are also appalled at the news of petrol bombing of the home of SATAWU
President June Dube last night.

We strongly condemn these acts and call upon the police to leave no stone
unturned in identifying the culprits behind these acts.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to the Nkosi family for
their tragic loss.
