be put back on the roll?

SACP supports ANC, condemns Julius Malema's propagation of war in the
strongest possible terms, calls on the police ‎to act swiftly in terms of
the rule of law

In a widely televised exchange in Talk to Al Jazeera last weekend, asked how
far he was willing to go in his war against our democratically elected
government leadership, referring to himself and his accomplices Julius
Malema said "we will remove this government through the barrel of a gun".

Julius Malema's propagation of unconstitutional change of our democratically
elected government through war is highly treasonous. It will ruin our
beautiful country in bloodshed, and must be nipped in the bud.

The SACP is fully behind the African National Congress and the step it has
taken yesterday, 25 April to lay charges with the police in Johannesburg
against Julius Malema. The police must act swiftly and defend the rule of
democratic law in our country.

Let us recall that Julius Malema, the "Economic Freedom Fighters" leader, is
a plunderpreneur of Limpopo. According to the findings made by the Public
Protector in a report titled 'On the Point of Tenders', Julius Malema was
involved and benefited from tender corruption and fraud in Limpopo Province
through his various shareholdings and Ratanang Family Trust.

During this period of Julius Malema's state capture in Limpopo, the
provincial government was pushed to the brink of bankruptcy, amidst looting
of public funds by corrupt and fraudulent means through tenders. Public
servants in certain branches of the service were plunged in a situation
where there was no money to pay them according to contractual obligations.

Thanks to national intervention under the leadership of government by
President Jacob Zuma, several Limpopo Provincial government departments were
brought under national administration to stop the collapse.‎ The situation
has since been hugely improved.
