Serbian PM Cancels Brussels Visits as 'EU Fuels Protests'

Regime-changers are at work yet again

The Morning Star, London, 14 June 2016

PRIME minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic has cancelled visits to Brussels
and Washington following reports that the EU and US ambassadors to Serbia
are fuelling street protests against his rule, local TV reported yesterday.

Mr Vucic had been scheduled to travel later this month to the Belgian
capital for the formal opening of EU membership talks and to the US for
bilateral talks with officials.

The Serbian leader made an unannounced visit to Russian President Vladimir
Putin last month, which resulted in calls by Moscow for Mr Vucic to "include
people who are determined to maintain and strengthen further relations
between Serbia and Russia" in his new government.

Belgrade's Informer daily, which is close to Mr Vucic, reported last week
that US ambassador Kyle Randolph Scott and EU envoy Michael Davenport were
actively working on "radicalising" street protests, trying to trigger
"chaos" in the country, which they deny.
