Support the NUM March to AngloGold Ashanti
COSATU calls on all its members' to support the NUM protest march to
AngloGold Ashanti head office in Johannesburg tomorrow.
The Congress of South African Trade Unions is calling on all its members in
Gauteng to support the planned UM protest march against AngloGold Ashanti
Head Office in Johannesburg on Saturday (05 August 2017).
The march is a pushback campaign against AngloGold Ashanti's to retrench
8,500 workers at its operations in Matlosana and Carletonville region.
The details of the march are as follows:
. Date: 5 August 2017 (Saturday)
. Time: 10h00 to 14h00
. Venue: Newtown Park, Newtown, corner Miriam Makeba and Helen Joseph
Streets
