COSATU Day of Action, 27 September 2017 GAUTENG PROVINCE * Gather at COSATU House from 08h00 * Deliver the first memorandum to the City of Johannesburg. Issues: scrapping of free basic water to the working class and the poor, employment discrimination and unfair suspension of workers. * Proceed to the Department of Labour, around the labour brokers and casualisation. * Then to the FNB and all other banks to demand an end to financialisation of our economy and lack of investment to productive sectors. We will be demanding transformation of the financial sector. * Then proceed to the Premier's Office around corruption and state Capture. * Finally at the Chamber of Mines around retrenchments, job losses, and unhealthy and hazardous working conditions in the sector.
