I think Yellow Dog is basically the best distro around PPC-wise. But its RPMs are not bleeding-edge enough for me. The only up-to-date enough PPC RPM repository that I can find is Fedora's:

Any idea how to configure "yum" to use that repo? I know, I know, it's not the smartest thing in the world to fool around with development repos, but I'm desperate here. I'm not a big fan of compiling my software. So, any tips will be appreciated.

For what I know Fedora's yum repositories are not YDL compatible anymore as they don't use zillions of headers files like we do. I heard they got them all compressed in a single big files.. of something like that.
