Hiya,
The real issue lies with the problem of recognising scsi drives - that has 
been mentioned in the bugtracker and forum in the past and is the main 
blocker for VMWare working with Yoper. If the installer could load the scsi 
drivers it would fix the issue I expect.
The business about having to partition first before attempting to install 
Yoper is just something I decided to use to avoid any problems if the 
installer couldn't sort it out - I had read something on that before. I must 
admit that I have not tested the install without partitioning the drive 
first - so will try that tomorrow.

So basically, scsi support (and ideally sata drives for general users as 
well - there was another mention of that in the forum this week) then Yoper 
would just work in VMWare I think.
