Hi Justin,
Well, I tried installing Y 2.91 in VmWare and it simply refused to install.
Always started - then fell over with an error about no partitions found. I
have seen that before, so using another distro to pre-partition the (virtual)
drive was my solution. But VMWare, by default, creates scsi virtual drives -
and Yoper 2.91 doesn't like scsi drives. Once I spotted the error in Yoper
relating to being unable to find the installed boot partition, I found out
how to change the VM virtual drive to IDE instead - problem solved.
Not sure how your install just worked Justin - unless maybe you have a later
version of the iso? I think Tobias did some changes to get scsi and sata
drives supported better.
