I happen to like the 2x8 layout - lets me have the main and panel windows next
to each other with no overlap.

I've tidied the main window layout, and I hope you all agree it looks much
neater and easier to follow.
I've also moved the Refresh and Close buttons in the panel window.
However, with world+dog now using wide screens, I wonder if this should be a
singe row of all 16 controls, instead of 2 rows of 8.
Opinions anyone?
