Hi Tom,

Unfortunately there are a number of issues with Android.

The first is that it is known to have latency problems, and although they may
get fixed at some point there is no guarantee of this.

Secondly, it is written almost entirely in java, which is only marginally
similar to C++

Finally, I don't know about anyone else, but I have no knowledge at all about
the hardware, except that it is continuously changing!

Yoshimi is quite a sizeable project with only a couple of us working on it, so
although it would be great to capture such a market I don't see it happening
any time soon.
