Originally, I had only one Mac. Then I had two. Then I added the most frustrating bit of mobile hardware I've owned (a Cingular 8125 Windows Mobile "smart"phone. It was agonizing to use, but at the time, only Windows mobile would allow me to store both work and home addresses, and only Windows Mobile would run Epocrates medical software. Syncing THAT to a Mac was convoluted (don't ask). As soon as Epocrates ran on the iPhone, I threw the Cingular phone in the river (actually, I discarded it responsibly, but it was a happy parting). > Keep it simple. So, now I'm the manager of the Windows 2008 Small Business Server at my medical practice. All the other docs are Windows users (but the iPhone and the need for periodic reinstallations of their entire Oses on their personal machines is sucking them towards Mac for some things. I've created a common (Exchange-hosted) calendar for our business that's accessible via Remote Web Workplace or Outlook Anywhere. It's in a shared folder, but it's easily accessible to everyone in our office and on any internet-capable computer with a modern browser. Entourage offers to Sync my default Exchange Calendar OR that shared calendar. I've not tried it, because I don't want to mess up what I have now, but I really SHOULD have (read/write) access to that calendar from my iPhone. For now, I no longer enter business stuff in my local Entourage Calendar, and I'm accessing the Exchange calendar from Entourage EWS, but it doesn't faithfully reproduce all the graphic elements (color coding of categories, for example) of the Exchange Calendar as it looks when viewed in Outlook Perhaps what I need for the moment is patience (or procrastination - the reader can pick), since there will be Outlook for the Mac in a few months. I've seen one very early pre-release version, and it looked like more than a name-change. Thanks for the link, by the way. It points to LOTS of Apple support articles, some of which conclude with "contact your Exchange IT administrator." Unfortunately, that's ME(!!!). That's been a struggle, but considering that I decided it was possible to do this after successfully placing a "bare metal" installation of Windows 2008 Small Business Server on a Mac Pro and sorting out a workable understanding of Active Directory, SSL certificates, Exchange Server, etc. before springing it all on my colleagues and staff, this last little bit shouldn't be impossible...
