Eqanimity indeed... Actually, it's kinda embarrasing to say because it's such a cliche, but India does seem to be a place conducive to 'spiritual' epihanies, and I was not spared. Briefly, I was exposed to the teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj (a disciple of Ramana Maharshi) and Dzogchen (I'm planning on staying at the monastry sometime in the next year or so). Maybe more on that later. Mike From: ED <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, 1 April, 2011 22:52:25 Subject: Re: [Zen] Why bother with Zazen? Better Orgyhouse Mikeji, What was your 'India experience'? I know you were in India recently, and visited Arunachala, I think. A friend of mine who is a devotee of Ramana Maharshi reported having psychic experiences when in Arunachala. --ED --- In [email protected], mike brown <uerusuboyo@...> wrote: > > ED, > > Slowly but surely you're ever creeping forward to my India 'experience' ; ) > > Mikeji
