David, As you said you can obtain the entire source code on the system. At
this moment there is no a source repository as svn, git or similar, we are
in our TODO list. You can change, modify, add, the code and send us the
patch (through the list or our personal if you prefer).
We accept public patches, is more, we would very happy if we receive
patches or additions of the community.
Now you know ;) feel free for send us your own, we would check, test and if
all is workinf find it could be added in the new releases
