Hey Zen LB Masters, I need urgent help

I am evaluating Zen-LB (open source). I have installed the cluster on 2 VMs
(vmware platform) using the latest iso-v3.02. I am using it to load balance my
8 proxy servers. When the total number of sessions gone high (around 8000), the
LB drastically slowed down. I found that the CPU is choking at 100%, memory
utilization not even touched 10%. On further investigation I found that the
vmware console is showing CPU utilization only 30% for this VM but when i
checked inside the VM using top command the 'pen process' is consuming as high
as 100% cpu. I am using a 4-vCPU, 4GB-RAM VM and VMware tool also installed in
it. I have checked by shifting the load to other node in the Zen-cluster but no
improvement. Am I missing something in configuration? How do I solve this
problem? When I investigated further found that, the 'pen' process is using
only one vCPU (out of 4) and utilizing it 100% hence becoming unresponsive
within few minutes. How do I resolve this issue?
I need to load balance 8 proxies with 'equal load sharing' and also want
X-forwarded-for options to get the real client IP in proxy for logging and
auditing purpose.Need urgent help please. -- Thanks in advance.
                      -Deeps.
