Using the opensource one. At first it will only pick up the Legacy adapters, but after you run aptitude upgrade fully it has the 3.2 kernel which has hyper-v 2012 drivers. (you will have to update the keyring first before all repo's can be used tho).
So what you do: aptitude update aptitude install debian-archive-keyring reboot (not 100% sure if this is nessecary but i just did that) aptitude update aptitude upgrade It will ask if you want to overwrite a custom config which i chose no for. Once fully updated reboot again to get ur self in the 3.2 kernel then you can add the normal hyper-v 2012 nic's and they will be detected. you might need to set /etc/network/interfaces to: eth0 auto and set it to dhcp for the first time --> then launch the gui again and configure the interface.. remove the additionals in interfaces file and reboot :-) It's alot more easy to do really.. just sounds bit like a long story but takes about 10 minutes or so.
