I am on debian sarge, with a kernel of 2.4.27-2-386
I don't have any environment variables in my sudoers file. env_reset is not set, and I'm having trouble finding any documentation telling me how to use env_keep and env_reset. (They are in the man page, and what they do is explained, but how to put them into the /etc/sudoers file is not explained, at least not to my satisfaction. Man page has a deficiency of having zero examples. naughty documentation writers..naughty! But.. not your fault by any stretch of the imagination.)

I'm looking forward to getting up and running so I can see what this will do. I can access the administration interface and such.

If you don't already have a long list of environment variables in /etc/sudoers, you can leave out the keep_env configuration.

What OS and version are you running?

I am getting the same error message as this person when I try to run zenping. I had to add permission to run zenping to the sudoers file. The answer of adding certain things to keep_env seems like an incomplete answer. Where in the sudoers file do you add this option?
Thanks.
