what does the command "push changes" do? it is located in the drop down menu
under manage > push changes.

I was having trouble with some of my changes being recognized so i began using
that command to see if it would make the changes take effect but i noticed it
having some wierd side effects on my data source commands.

I have 2 shell scripts running once a minute, when i would look at one of the
commands save it and then push changes that command would be the only one to
run, and vice versa when i did it to the other one the original one would stop
running and the one i just pushed the changes on would be the only one running.

After experimenting a little if i had one script running and i went to edit the
other command and saved it without pushing changes they would both run.

I would like to know what that command does and why it interferes with the
scheduler, and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, Arlen
