I submitted the same question to the dev list earlier in the day. Seems
like this might be a bug because 1.2 did not do this.

Subject: [zenoss-users] Threshold violations on Cisco virtual
interfaces(speed = 0)

Greetings,

I'm attempting to migrate from an NMIS/Nagios platform to Zenoss for
everything and one of the difficulties I'm running into is that Zenoss
seems to collect a 0 for the speed of all Cisco virtual interfaces (6509
in question here collected as a Devices/Network/Router/Cisco). As a
result the threshold seems to trip for any (or no) traffic at all and
I'm getting a nice collection of threshold violations building up. Is
there a way to simulate a speed for these interfaces or exclude them
automatically from thresholding since they really have no hard upper
speed limit?
