Hello,

Probably _the_ oldest question around here.
I've tried to set up an temperature graph. The reason is, I want to make a
report of 10 server rooms with temp graphing.

I've made a local template on an apc ups with env mon.
With an snmpget, I can extract the value - 26 - of the temperature.
I've set up the following:
Template: Temperature (local copy)

Datasources:
iemStatusProbeCurrentTemp.1 - OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.4.1
Datapoints: iemStatusProbeCurrentTemp.1 (GAUGE, RRDmin 0 RRD Max 60)

Thresholds:
Temperature (Min/Max - 0 /40 - Datapoints:
iemStatusProbeCurrentTemp.1_iemStatusProbeCurrentTemp.1
Severity: Error
Escalate Count:0
Eanbled: True

Graph Definition:
Temperature
H:100
W:500
Units:1
Log:True
Base1024:False
Min/Max Y:-1
Has summary:True

This is all I've set up.
The .RRD File is created, but the graph is empty. I've tried restarting all
zen* processes, waiting half an hour. (Yep, I'm a bit impatient.)
I'm I using the wrong datasource? Should it not be gauge? The return value of
snmpget is INTEGER: 26

Any useful tips for a lousy sysadm?

Thanks!

\\mark
