I believe the snmpwalk that the gui does is very minimal. Just gets basic info without walking the whole tree. Are you walking a specific OID or subsection? Or are you walking the entire tree? Does the walk pause or timeout? Are you doing this snmpwalk from the zenoss box itself or elsewhere?
Can you do an snmpwalk from the zenoss box itself as the zenoss user and paste the entire output? # snmpwalk -v1 -c hsbcomro Bayside_RTR One thing that did look odd in your output was the line Code: 2008-09-18 15:46:22 INFO zen.SnmpClient Device timed out: SNMP info for Bayside_RTR at *routerip*:161 timeout: 3.5 tries: 3 version: v1 community: hsbcomro I would think *routerip* would actually be the ip address of the router. Perhaps dns isn't resolving correctly? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=25243#25243 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
