Hello. I have one question. I guess it is simple, but i missed something. Zenoss does not send alerting mails. For example i would like to receive alerting emails about the ping issue. I can see events related to ping issue on the 'Event Console' page. I can receive 'test mail' so i configured it properly. Also i configured alerting rules on the 'Preferences' page with the following settings:
Delay (secs): 0 Action: email Plain Text: True Send clear messages: True Enabled: True Address (optional): Repeat Time (secs): 0 Production State = Production Severity >= Clear Event Class begins with /Status/Ping On the 'Schedule' tab i do not set any periods. I can see events, but do not receive alerting mails. Can you tell me what i missed or what i configured incorrectly. Or can you give me some hint what i should check.
