So i'm trying to monitor a Citrix NetScaler and one of the items I'm getting traps for are win vip entities go up and down.
The device sends trap 1.3.6.1.4.1.5951.1.1.0.8 when any entity goes down, and includes the entity name in the details of the trap. The device then sends trap 1.3.6.1.4.1.5951.1.1.0.9 when any entity comes back, and again includes the name in the details. I've successfully mapped the events to eventclasses (which are entitydown and entityup). My next goal is to correlate these so an up event clears the correct down event. I've read the admin guide and understand that the eventclasskey has to match for the up & down events so Zenoss knows there's a sequence in place. Unfortunately this is where my problem arises- once I change the eventclasskey to a 3rd key (as suggested in section 13 of the admin guide) Zenoss stops recognizing the events and they go back to being "/Unknown" If anybody can give any insight into this problem, (or even better a solution...) I'd *really* appreciate it.
