Same issue here. Installed 2.2.3 in a CentOS 5.2 VPS using the CentOS5 RPM and satisfying the required dependencies.
Zenoss started fine, but as soon as I add a device, it doesn't show up. Started from scratch, using the 2.2.4 RPM on CentOS 5.2 again. Same result. Thought to myself: Ok, lets try the Debian stand alone deb, as it includes all the dependencies. One can hardly go wrong there, right? Set up a Debian 4 VPS, installed the deb ... same result. The devices I try to monitor worked fine under Zenoss-2.1.3 and earlier, so it's nothing wrong with the SNMP config on the devices I try to add.
