Don't worry about apologizing - I'm glad you got it to work. The problem I ran into with the Asterisk zenpack was that once it was installed, you couldn't install any other zenpacks and couldn't create any new datasources. If you tried, you got the symptoms described in the thread I referred to above. So I backed out the Asterisk zenpack and took a different tack.
