MySQL is certainly started, however the Zenoss user has trouble making a connection, I see things like this:
Products.ZenEvents.Exceptions.MySQLConnectionError: (2002, "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/zenoss/mysql/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)") running mysql -u root gives the same error. however, launching as # things work properly. I'm thinking a permissions issue?
