Hi again, Thought I'd best make a separate post for each of my questions!
Anyway, so all my network kit is currently sending syslog (udp/514) to my Windows Server, Kiwi Syslog software and that works great. I want to migrate that to Zenoss, and I have zenoss 2.4.2 running as a VM on the same Windows Server. I've stopped the Kiwi service, but I can't see the syslog packets hitting zenoss (I used tcpdump to check). So, what do I need to do on my Windows Server to get the syslog packets in to zenoss VM? Or what do I need to do in zenoss to get it to listen for port 514? Any help much appreciated.
