Hmmm, my mail reply to this seems to have gone on walkabout, though it is in the mailing list. I'll copy here:
Can you call out to zensendevent, or one of the other APIs? I would think you could use some event command based on the filters and event mappings you create to then call zensendevent and BAM! To add some clarity, what I think you could do is create an event mapping / transform that filters how you want to a specific event, and then use filters in the event command to limit even more. As part of the event command you can call pretty much anything / run a shell script or whatever, so you could use zensendevent to generate a new event for Zenoss to then process. -- James Pulver Information Technology Area Supervisor LEPP Computer Group Cornell University -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=36952#36952 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
