Taxis to SC/SC community members Jun 25, 2010, 09.32pm IST MANGALORE: The handing over of taxis, organised by the department of tourism to the selected beneficiaries of SC/ST communities will be held at deputy commissioner's office auditorium here on Saturday. DK district in charge minister J Kirshna Palemar will inaugurate the programme and distribute the taxis. Mangalore city south MLA N Yogish Bhat will preside over the programme. DK zilla panchayat president Santhosh Kumar Bhandary, NRI cell deputy chairman and MLC Ganesh Karnik, legislators Abhayachandra Jain, U T Khader, Mallika Prasad, Angara, Vasanth Bangera, DK Lok Sabha member Nalin Kumar Kateel and mayor Rajani Dugganna will take part in the programme.
