MDI announces its First Workshop on Leading Corporate Transformation: Performing at the Cutting Edge

Prepare executives for leading performance in a networked environment. The rapidly changing business landscape - shaped by discontinuous technological developments, information revolution and fast collapsing boundaries of markets, societal moves and political frameworks - has transformed the requirements of role efficacy at the top levels. This two-week workshop has been designed by MDI specifically to prepare those who are in line for Board-level positions to understand the emerging challenges and develop competencies to meet them in an effective manner. Since a global mindset and global leadership is an integral part of the Board-level competencies, a ten-day meticulously worked out international module has also been built into the Workshop. Therefore, the participants will spend a 5 days on the campus of MDI and 10 days in North America where they shall engage in intensive interaction at leading management institutions and business organisations. The Workshop will focus on the following critical themes: Boardroom landscape and its imperatives; Strategic leadership; Global mindset and leading of transitions; Contextual alignment of the current role-behaviour. A key strength of the Workshop is its highly interactive methodology focused on syndicate discussions and integration of diverse concerns and view-points. It includes discussions with eminent national and international academicians; dialogues with CEOs of diverse business organisations in India and abroad; thought exchange with regulators, policy formulators, as well as top executives from financial and investment firms; and experience sharing sessions with leading consultants. Workshop fee: Rs 1,95,000. In addition the participant will be required to bear the cost of international travel and local travel abroad, as well as the cost of stay overseas. These costs will be charged on actuals.
